Cuarenta-y-tres (43)

Monday, April 4th, 10:06 p.m.

INGLES

Saturday night I discovered the national drink of Spain. Well, not the national drink exactly ... but it pretty much only exists in Spain; it's called cuarente-y-tres (43), and it tastes a little bit like vanilla. Nicole got a 43 & coke and I got a malibu & OJ the other night and we shared; it was perfect.

I was just offered more hours at my job and I don't know if I should take them. They're from 6:30-8:00pm M/W which means I wouldn't get home until 9pm those days, in order to go to sleep by 10pm to get up at 6 the next day. In other words, I'd have two 13-hour days and two 15-hour days per week. I'm thinking about it but I'm not sure it's worth it. Advice would be welcome. I wish I had internet at home so I could send this out right now.

Am so glad to have a job!

Language spot:

"Small world, huh?" When you run into someone, for example, you haven't seen in a long time, or whatever. In Spanish, it's "El mundo es un pañuelo." (The world is a handkerchief). Isn't that cute?

ESPANOL

Puntito lenguaje:

"Small world, huh?"
