Hecho polvo
Monday, April 18th, 3:23 p.m. What!? April 18th? When did that happen!? I find it interesting that the past two days I have gone to sleep while it is (very) much light out and gotten up in the dark. Yesterday I went to bed at 4pm and woke up at 6; today I'm going to bed at 6:30pm and waking up at 6. And believe me, after this weekend, I need the sleep; I slept a total of 11 hours in three nights and worked my ASS off! Hopefully tomorrow I will have the time to write about why. Language spot: Estoy hecho polvo: I am exhausted, or worked, as we say in American slang (literally: I am made into dust). Echar un polvo: I got laid (literally: To throw a dust) Entonces, estoy hecho polvo, pero disafortunadamente, ya está; no he echado un polvo por el fin de semana. Que pena, eh?
